Your First Visit to 5D Wellness: A Local's Guide
5D Wellness Team·6 min read·February 20, 2026

So you've heard about 5D Wellness from a neighbor, drove past us in East Bethel, or finally got curious about that infrared sauna everyone keeps mentioning. Welcome. A first visit anywhere new can feel like a lot, so here's a friendly, no-pressure walkthrough of exactly what to expect when you come see us for the first time.
We're a locally and women-owned wellness spa serving East Bethel and the North Metro - Ham Lake, Blaine, Andover, Anoka, Coon Rapids, Cambridge, Cedar, and Isanti. Everything you'll read about below lives under one roof, and our whole goal is to make your first hour feel calm, private, and completely yours.
How to book your first visit
You have a few easy options, and none of them require a membership to get started.
- Single therapy - $12 for the day. Want to try just one thing, like the cold plunge or red light? Pay $12 and enjoy that therapy for the day.
- Day Pass - $28 all day. This is our favorite pick for a first visit. For $28 you get access to all of our therapies for the whole day, so you can move from sauna to cold plunge to halotherapy at your own pace.
- Massage - no membership needed. A 60-minute massage is $99 and a 90-minute is $139, and each one includes a 30-minute pre-sauna to help you arrive and unwind before hands ever touch your shoulders.
You can book online through our booking page, or call us at (612) 322-9989 if you'd rather talk it through with a person. We're happy to help you pick the right starting point.
What to bring and what to wear
Keep it simple. Here's the short list that covers almost everyone's first visit.
- Water. This is the one thing we ask you not to forget. The sauna and other therapies feel best when you're well hydrated, so bring a bottle you can refill.
- Comfortable clothes. Come as you are. Soft, loose layers you can move in and out of easily work great.
- A swimsuit if you'd like. Plenty of guests wear a swimsuit for the sauna and cold plunge. Bring one if it makes you feel comfortable.
- A small towel and flip-flops if you have them, though we'll point you to everything you need when you arrive.
There's no dress code and no wrong outfit here. The goal is for you to feel relaxed, not fussy.
What each therapy is actually like
If you've never tried these before, here's a plain-language preview so nothing feels mysterious.
Infrared sauna
A gentle, enveloping warmth that feels softer than a traditional steam sauna. You sit, breathe, and let the heat do its thing while you scroll, read, or simply close your eyes. It's a lovely, easy place to start your visit. Learn more about our infrared saunas.
Cold plunge
Yes, it's cold - and yes, people genuinely love it. A short, refreshing dip that leaves you feeling bright and awake. Start with just a few seconds; there's no rule that says you have to stay in long. Read about the cold plunge before you take the leap.
Red light
You relax in front of warm, soft red light. It's quiet, comfortable, and takes no effort at all - many guests use it as a calm, screen-free pause in their day.
Halotherapy
Also called salt therapy, this is a peaceful room where you simply sit back and breathe in air with fine salt particles. Think of it as a quiet moment to slow down.
Massage
Our massages come with that 30-minute pre-sauna built in, so your muscles are already warm and relaxed before your session begins. Choose 60 or 90 minutes and let yourself fully unwind. Explore our massage options.
Tanning
A quick, private option if you're after a little glow. It's there whenever you want it, no appointment shuffle required.
How 24/7 member access works
If you find yourself coming back - and many neighbors do - membership unlocks 24/7 keypad access plus unlimited therapies. That means you can stop in at 5 a.m. before work or at 10 p.m. after the kids are asleep, on your schedule, no front-desk hours to plan around.
You don't need to decide any of this on day one. Try a Day Pass first, see how it feels, and if it becomes part of your routine, ask us about membership whenever you're ready.
How to plan your first hour
Here's a simple, unhurried rhythm a lot of first-timers enjoy with a Day Pass:
- Start warm: ease into the infrared sauna for a while to settle in.
- Wake up: step into the cold plunge for a quick, refreshing dip.
- Slow down: finish in halotherapy or under the red light to land somewhere calm.
That's it. No rushing, no crowds to navigate - just a private, neighborly space that's yours for the day. Want to know more about who we are before you come? Read our story.
Ready when you are. Pick a Day Pass or single therapy, bring your water bottle, and come see why your neighbors keep coming back. Book your first visit today, or call us at (612) 322-9989 - we'd love to welcome you.
